What verification can cover

A verification record may include a site visit, location confirmation, supporting evidence and a review of the lister’s claimed authority. The badge expires and can be withdrawn if material information changes or a safety investigation begins.

What it does not mean

Verification is not a title search, legal opinion, valuation, structural survey, guarantee of availability or promise that a proposed transaction is safe. Renters must still inspect the property, confirm authority, understand the agreement and use a traceable payment process.
