Welcome to RentHub Ghana. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the RentHub Ghana website, platform, services, forms, listings, content, and related features.
RentHub Ghana is a free public rental listing platform developed under Ghana Path Foundation to help property owners, landlords, caretakers, agents, developers, institutions, and property managers list rental properties, while helping members of the public search for rental spaces.
By using RentHub Ghana, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. About RentHub Ghana
RentHub Ghana provides a digital platform where users can submit, view, search, and enquire about rental property listings.
The platform may include residential properties, commercial spaces, hostels, shops, offices, warehouses, event spaces, short-stay rentals, land for lease, and other rental opportunities.
RentHub Ghana is intended to support public access to rental information. It does not automatically act as a landlord, property owner, agent, broker, legal representative, surveyor, valuer, or property manager unless expressly stated in writing.
2. Who May Use the Platform
You may use RentHub Ghana if you are legally able to enter into agreements and provide accurate information.
Users may include landlords, property owners, caretakers, real estate agents, developers, property managers, institutions, tenants, property seekers, students, businesses, and members of the public.
RentHub Ghana may refuse, suspend, or remove access where a user provides false information, misuses the platform, submits misleading listings, engages in fraud, or breaches these Terms.
3. User Accounts
Some features may require users to create an account.
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
RentHub Ghana may suspend or close an account if it believes the account is being misused or used in a way that may harm other users, the platform, or the public.
4. Listing Properties
Users who submit rental listings confirm that they have the right, authority, or permission to list the property; the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge; the photos, videos, descriptions, location details, price, and contact information are not misleading; the property is genuinely available or expected to be available; they will update or remove the listing when the property is no longer available; and they will not use RentHub Ghana to advertise fake, fraudulent, unlawful, unsafe, or misleading properties.
RentHub Ghana may review, approve, reject, edit, suspend, or remove listings at its discretion.
5. Listing Review and Verification
RentHub Ghana may review listings before publication to improve the quality and safety of the platform.
However, approval of a listing does not automatically mean RentHub Ghana has physically inspected the property, confirmed ownership, verified all documents, or guaranteed the accuracy of the listing.
Some listings may be marked as “Verified” only where additional checks have been completed. The meaning of any verification badge will be explained on the platform.
6. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for conducting their own checks before entering into any rental agreement or making any payment.
Property seekers should inspect the property before payment, confirm the identity of the person listing the property, request proof of ownership or authorization where necessary, confirm the rental price, payment terms, and availability, avoid making payments to unknown persons without proper verification, and seek legal or professional advice where necessary.
RentHub Ghana is not responsible for losses arising from a user’s failure to conduct proper checks.
7. Payments and Transactions
RentHub Ghana does not automatically collect rent, agency fees, deposits, viewing fees, or other property-related payments unless a specific payment service is introduced and clearly stated.
Any payment made directly between users is done at their own risk.
Users should not assume that a person is trustworthy simply because their listing appears on RentHub Ghana.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users must not submit fake or misleading listings, list a property without authority, use stolen or misleading photos, misrepresent property location, price, size, condition, or availability, demand unlawful fees, harass, threaten, abuse, or deceive other users, upload harmful, offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content, attempt to hack, damage, overload, or interfere with the platform, collect user data without permission, or use the platform for scams, fraud, money laundering, or unlawful activity.
RentHub Ghana may remove content, suspend accounts, report suspicious activity, or take further action where necessary.
9. Reporting Listings
Users may report listings that appear fake, unavailable, misleading, duplicated, suspicious, or inappropriate.
RentHub Ghana may investigate reports and may remove or suspend listings where necessary. However, the platform is not required to resolve private disputes between users.
10. Content Ownership and Permission
Users remain responsible for the content they submit.
By submitting content to RentHub Ghana, including property photos, descriptions, and listing details, you give RentHub Ghana permission to display, publish, format, edit, promote, and share the content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
You confirm that you have the right to submit any photos, videos, or other materials uploaded to the platform.
11. Accuracy of Information
RentHub Ghana aims to keep the platform useful and accurate, but it does not guarantee that all listings, prices, locations, availability, descriptions, or contact details are always complete, current, or error-free.
Users should independently verify all important information before making decisions.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The platform may include links to third-party websites, maps, WhatsApp, payment services, social media pages, or partner platforms.
RentHub Ghana is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of third-party platforms.
13. Donations and Sponsorships
RentHub Ghana may be supported through donations, sponsorships, grants, partnerships, and philanthropic contributions.
Donations help support website development, hosting, maintenance, listing review, public education, fraud prevention, verification systems, outreach, and operational support.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, donations do not give the donor ownership, control, or decision-making rights over RentHub Ghana or Ghana Path Foundation.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentHub Ghana and Ghana Path Foundation shall not be liable for losses, damages, disputes, fraud, payments, failed transactions, property defects, inaccurate listings, unavailable properties, or user conduct arising from use of the platform.
RentHub Ghana provides a listing platform and does not guarantee the conduct of users or the outcome of any rental transaction.
15. Suspension or Termination
RentHub Ghana may suspend or terminate access to the platform where a user breaches these Terms, provides false information, submits fraudulent listings, misuses the platform, or creates risk for other users.
16. Changes to These Terms
RentHub Ghana may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the website with a revised date.
Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
